He wrote a popular weekly advice column in Ami Magazine for eight years and is the author of the bestselling book God of Our Understanding: Jewish Spirituality and Recovery from Addiction.

He has developed several groundbreaking works on Tanya including: the Tanya Map teaching tool, the JLI Soul Maps curriculum, and the audio series Mapping the Tanya.

He serves as permanent scholar-in-residence at Chabad of the Five Towns in Cedarhurst, New York and directs the Torah website SoulWords.org where thousands of hours of his classes on a wide variety of Jewish topics may be viewed.
